Fish Okinawa - Mahi Mahi in Onna Village

Mahi Mahi are running thick in Onna village! Proud angler holds up his catch after arriving back from his charter in Onna port at Manza beach. This angler was persistent in his tactics and used a casting rod with a variety of jigging lures to land him his cooler box full of fish. Changing the "pinks" for the "blues" and vis versa... then onto "poppers;" while finding what the fish were biting for that day. Good catch! Way to represent the young fishermen out there on Okinawa.

Saltwater Fishing for Akajin or "Red Grouper" on Okinawa

Capt holding up an Akajin from a fishing charter that went out this past Sat. Dec 1st. The red grouper was a little over 1kg. Weather within the Awase area was perfect. This trip netted bittaro, mibai, akajin, juuma, buri, and akana.
